Aminah Muhammad is a graduate of Walden University earning a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association and working toward her licensure in the state of Virginia. Aminah has had internship experience with Washington DC Behavioral Health agency in early childhood trauma and interventions. Aminah specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, emotional regulation, positive social skills, family system therapy, and grief and loss.
Aminah integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-based therapy, and play therapy to empower her client, in a healing method of body, mind, and soul. Aminah’s clients learn essential tools for navigating through life’s challenges. Aminah enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing and watching football and basketball.
